Istanbul Aydin University, in collaboration with the Anadolu Education and Culture Foundation, has initiated the “Wisdom Program” aimed at providing theoretical and practical lessons for individuals aged 60 and above. This program, which is a social responsibility initiative, aims to enable individuals aged 60 and above to acquire 21st-century skills and reintegrate into social life. A program with a curriculum similar to an undergraduate degree has been created by volunteer academicians, with classes held three days a week, three hours per day.
The Wisdom Program launch took place on June 23, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Istanbul Aydin University, where students from the Hair Care and Beauty Services Department performed a show with the theme “Intergenerational Framework.” On July 18, face-to-face education will be provided to a group of 40 students aged 60 and above.
