All individuals aged 60 and above who have at least a high school diploma can apply.
The courses follow a curriculum determined by the instructors at Istanbul Aydin University’s Wisdom Program Office. There is a single curriculum system, and there is no process for selecting majors within the Wisdom Program.
Attendance in classes is mandatory, and the attendance requirement is set at 80%. Those who register for the program are responsible for attending all classes. For more details, you can refer to the Wisdom Program Implementation Principles.

The program is limited to a maximum of 40 participants. This does not necessarily mean that all spots will be filled.
The program spans a total of 4 semesters or 2 years, divided into Fall and Spring semesters for each year.
Participants who complete all the courses receive a participation certificate for the respective semester at the end of that semester.
The courses are taught by instructors from Istanbul Aydin University. Additionally, experts in the field, outside university staff, may also participate in seminar processes.
The program offers courses selected from disciplines such as health, computer technologies, economics, data security, law, gastronomy, sports, craftsmanship, art, history, and psychology.
The instructors for the Wisdom Program are primarily composed of Istanbul Aydin University faculty members. However, in some cases, subject matter experts from outside the university may also participate in the seminar processes.
Those who have enrolled in the program will be informed of the semester-specific course schedules through their contact information. The program’s classes are scheduled to take place two days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday), with three hours of instruction each day. The courses can be conducted in classrooms at the IAU Florya Campus, or they may be delivered through distance education, as determined by the Wisdom Program Office.
